Rules and Regulations

Okay Minna-san! These are the Rules and Regulations!!! But before you proceed, it is imperative that you know that:

WE DON'T OWN GATEKEEPERS, NOR ARE WE AFFILIATED WITH ANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO CREATED IT. WE STARTED THIS KEEPERS LIST ONLY BECAUSE WE WANTED TO PROMOTE THE GATEKEEPERS FANDOM. WE MAKE NO PROFIT WHATSOEVER FROM IT. WE ONLY "KEEP" THESE ITEMS IN OUR HEARTS, AND NOT FOR "REAL"!

Whew! ::takes a deep, calming breath:: So where were we? Okay, um... So wanna join the keeper's list? If yes then you'd better read the rules and guidelines first. If you don't follow them, then your request will naturally be denied. But we're usually nice about it.

1) All right first things first, You can be a keeper of almost anything found in the Gatekeepers anime series (however, the items you are allowed to keep ARE limited by these rules). Be it a shoe, a ribbon, heck, even a robot - use your imagination!

Some examples are:

Keeper of Kageyama's Shades
Keeper of Ruriko's Arrows
Keeper of Shun's Gate Robot

You may not request to keep a character, though, like a request to be the "Keeper of Kageyama". Those kind of things are reserved for other types of lists, like the Miko list, etc.

2) ONLY ONE ITEM PER REQUEST PER PERSON. If two parties make a request for an item TOGETHER, that's accepted. 

3) Before making a request, CHECK THE KEEPER'S LISTINGS FIRST to make sure your item isn't already taken. This isn't a guarantee you'll get it because someone might've already requested it before we've updated the list. This list is based "first come, first served" policy.

4) You can own as many items as you want. The only catch is you have to WAIT for ONE WEEK after you receive approval for your previous request before you can request again. 

5) We reserve the right to reject requests if they're too obscene or hentai. Though we understand yaoi, that's also not appreciated on the lists.

6) If you do not receive an e-mail from us after you email a request, then there are only two causes:

    a) We didn't get your email.
    b) You request was rejected for various reasons. [see other rules]

If you feel we didn't answer because of reason #1, then try e-mailing your request again.

7) You may request for friends, but you must follow the format below and add a sentence or two explaining the situation. If your friend has no email address, put your e-mail addy in so they can be contacted, if need be, through you.

8) If you are already listed in the Keeper's List, and any of the info you submitted to us has CHANGED, like your nick, email us and inform us about WHAT has changed, along with ALL the other items you keep in this list.

9) Regarding GK21 items: starting July 30, 2003, requests for GK21 items will be limited to TWO ITEMS per person. This is in consideration for future fans, as GK21 isn't that widespread yet. Once it has been aired on AXN or another station, I may lift this rule.

 

Request Format

Okay, now that you've read the rules, here's the format for requests:

In the SUBJECT of your email, put your request, like, "Request to be Keeper of Kaoru's Gate"

In the BODY of your email, use this format:

Name: 
Email address: 
URL: (optional) 
Site title: (optional) 
Request: 

[Note: This info will be posted on our keeper's list.]

Then e-mail us at alli@renb.net and we will notify you of approval within a couple of weeks.

And before we forget, please keep in mind that we will do random mass checking of e-mails. That is to check if your e-mail addresses are still working. The reason for this is because if your email address doesn't work anymore, then naturally no one would be able to contact you about the keepers list and what's more, you might not be even *using* the item you're keeping in your sig lines, etc. And so, within that six months, whatever e-mails bounce back from the check, we'll recheck those bouncing addies. If our emails still bounce back, then we will remove those people with the bouncing email addresses from the keepers list and free up some items. Kapish?
