A Case of Sleepwalking

It was night. Botan couldn’t sleep. She had been turning, tossing, and thrashing about for hours [not really], but somehow, she just didn't feel tired. Looking at her clock, she found it was 2:31 AM. A drink of water would help. She got up, and went out of her room.

On her way back from getting a drink, Botan saw Koenma in his teenage form walking around with his eyes closed. Botan looked around her to check whether anyone was around, then said, "What the HECK are YOU doing up so EARLY in the MORNING??!!!!" Fine then. She shouted. [Lets just say that she was pretty cranky for being up so early in the morning...-_-;;;]

No response.

Botan stood in front of Koenma and looked carefully at his face. He seemed to be mumbling things like, "Must finish work...too many papers...stamp stamp... must finish work and get sleep... no... not more papers... this sucks...I want a break..." Etc. Botan decided that she’d better wake him up. Once again checking whether there was anyone nearby, or any rooms nearby, she looked back towards Koenma, and slapped his cheek several times, then yelled in his ear, "STOP SLEEPWALKING AND WAKE UUUUPPPP!!!!!" Koenma woke up.

"Hunh???"

"Baka. You were sleepwalking."

"...oops?"

"THAT’S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR ME KINDLY WAKING YOU UP SO YOU WOULDN’T CRASH INTO A WALL??!! HUMMMPH!!!" During this outburst, Koenma went to sleep again. On Botan’s shoulder.

Botan summoned her oar and bonked him on the head. It didn't work.

She repeated the action. Koenma stirred, then fell asleep again.

"Geez... humph. Guess I’ll have to take you to your room now..." Botan started to walk in that direction, pulling Koenma along with her, and muttering about stupid people who sleepwalk in the middle of the night.

Suddenly Koenma hugged her. For some unknown reason... probably just a dream, considering that he was asleep... Botan blushed a little, took his hands off her, and having reached his room, opened the door, and walked towards the bed. Pulling, no, make it dragging, Koenma along with her.

Depositing Koenma on his bed, she stopped to look at him. She tucked in the covers on the bed. Saying softly, "Goodnight, Koenma-sama," She left the room, closing the door softly behind her. Koenma opened his eyes, then stared at the ceiling in thought. Snickering every so often...[=^^=]

When Botan got back to her room, she fell asleep right after she got into bed, not bothering to look at the clock.

The time was 3:12 AM. It was night.

I know I know... Botan seems slightly OOC... but I couldn't help it...

A comment. I keep on saying, ‘it was night’, but would it be early morning instead? WHATEVER. Well! MY FIRST ONE-SHOT FIC!!! YAY!!!! Ehem. Well, it’s sorta KoBoish, but not really. Ah well...-_- Review please! OH YEAH!! I forgot to say that I got the sleepwalking idea from someone else. But the story is mine. Thanks! NOW, REVIEW!!!!
