Oboette Imasu
By: Tasukimi Himura
This was the first Koenma/Botan fanfic I ever had the privilege to read, and it was what hooked me onto the K/B fandom and got me to start this site in the first place. Naturally, it holds a special place in my heart.

A wonderfully written one-shot that tells a story without giving you the feeling that it went too fast or too slow. The ending was quite nice too. I just loved this fic the first time I read it.
Is it Wrong to Fall in Love?
By: Manille
There are a few K/B writers who I truly admire, and I consider Manille as one of the greatest. She always writes beautiful love stories that aren't mushy, and that somehow always manage to touch your heart. This is my favorite fic by her because it was the first and only K/B fic that ever made me cry. The characters and their emotions were the main feature of the story, but there is an underlying plot that'll leave you in tears in the end.
History's Shadow
By: M.E.
M.E. is another old K/B author that I love because of how well she writes and because some of her fics use truly unique ideas. Of all her works, this fic is my favorite because even if it was never finished, the emerging plot captured my imagination. It's truly a different kind of K/B fic, and I wish I could've seen it in it's completion. ::sighs:: Oh well...
Sanguine
By: Melpomene
One of the newer stories. This is a beautifully gothic-like fic that made me struggle all through out to piece together the entire story. The descriptions were vivid, alive with well-chosen words and dripping with darkness. The interaction between Koenma and Botan was also done marvelously, from the pain of betrayal to the almost defiant yet doomed love. I think this is one of Melpomene's best works.
[I'll keep updating this list from time to time.]
